What we keep, and how to make us forget you.

What we keep

• Your email address and when you signed up.
• Which version of the signup page you saw.
• Data about your connection.
• Anything you email to hello@loss.sh, as text. Not attachments or images.

When we email you

• Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• For some issues we count opens: when you first opened it and how many times. Some mail apps open every email on arrival, so it's rough.

When you visit

• We count visits in daily totals: where the visit came from, which page, and whether the signup box got used. Nothing in them points back to you.
• One cookie remembers which page version you saw, for 90 days.
• No ad trackers. Nothing follows you to other sites.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and email providers, to run the site and send the email. We don't sell or share it with anyone else.

Getting deleted

Unsubscribe and you won't get another email. We keep your address marked as unsubscribed so it stays that way. To be deleted completely, email hello@loss.sh.
